The wolf doesn’t dance any more!

Steffi – the lady below – asked me to take photos of their dance performance (which was organized and held by the Konservatorium Wien). It was demanding and I’m not too happy with the results. Made a lot of mistakes that I realized when I finally saw the performance sitting in the audience. Oh well. Still, hope you enjoy.
In closure: It’s been a fantastic experience shooting arts once again. It’s nice to see how limited photography is compared to dancing in that case. There’s so much passion going on on the stage – something that photography lacks of. Photography is dull and simple. I said that before, right? A few times at least. Good ol’ Unlce Bernie Rants – they never get old…

Bernard,
they look very good to me. Some seem a bit strange, but most of the images are good if not very good and can go straight to a folder or something.
I think that what you are seeing is that they could have been better, what images you missed, etc. That’s good, it’s only when you think your work cannot be improved that it gets dangerous.

I thought some of the photos were fantastic, don’t be so critical : O light and dynamics. yes.

the shots aren´t awesome but at least good (most of them are very good). especially considering how limited you are when shooting something on a stage, without being on that stage yourself ;)
so what?
you can´t reinvent the wheel every day.
